Under the e-Passport system, all passport applications are sent to Manila for final processing and printing. The current e-Passport turnaround time, from submission of application to passport releasing, takes at least 8-10 weeks.
For lost passport replacement, a 15-day verification period, on top of the 8-10-week processing period, is required if the lost passport is still valid (unexpired).
