RICHMOND, BC, 23 January 2025 – Philippine Consul General Dr. Gina A. Jamoralin, who recently assumed office in November 2024, paid a courtesy call on Mayor Malcolm Brodie of Richmond City on 22 January 2025 to strengthen ties between the Philippine Consulate General and the city.
The meeting highlighted the active and vibrant Filipino community in Richmond and explored potential collaborations in culture, community support, and tourism promotion. Consul General Jamoralin introduced key programs of the Consulate and expressed interest in fostering closer engagement with the city.
Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to promoting inclusivity and supporting the diverse communities that make Richmond a thriving multicultural hub. END
