“Emerging Trends in Food Trade” as theme for the PHILIPPINE FOOD EXPO - April 20-22, 2018, Manila, Philippines
01 September 2017 - The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver is pleased to announce the holding of the 14th Philippine Food Expo on April 20-22, 2018 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City, Manila, Philippines. This Expo has been the only all-Filipino food show held in the country over the last 15 years.
Under the theme “Emerging Trends in Food Trade”, the event will serve as a platform for prospective buyers to network with local food manufacturers and suppliers. The Expo will allow companies to test the market, identify suppliers and partners, and get to know the Philippine food industry from the inside.
The Event, organized by the Philippine Food Processors and Exporters Associations (PHILFOODEX), will also co-locate the following: Choco, Coffee and Tea Festival, a collection of mixes and concoctions of different brews and blends; Culinary Showdown, featuring food styling and photography, market basket challenge, kitchen masters and cake decorating competitions; and Barista Challenge, composed of flair-tending, latte art competition and coffee barista competition.
