Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver Donates Blood to Canadian Blood Services

25 January 2017 – Consul General Neil Frank Ferrer led members of the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver in donating blood to the Canadian Blood Services. Consulate personnel visited the main office of the Canadian Blood Services in Vancouver on 25 January 2017 for the blood donation.

The Canadian Blood Services encourages the public to donate blood especially during the winter season when demand for blood is greater due to the increase in vehicular accidents and other emergencies. Consul General Ferrer plans to promote the habit of donating blood among the Filipino-Canadian community. He noted that donating blood helps save life and makes a difference in someone’s life. - END
