10 March 2015 - Under the leadership of the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver, the Consuls General of the five ASEAN countries represented in Vancouver, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines, met with the officers and staff of the Asia-Pacific Foundation (APF) of Canada.

The Consuls General present were Ms. Sri Wiludjeng of Indonesia, Mr. Mohd Adli Bin Abdullah of Malaysia, Mrs. Sutthiluck Sa-ngarmangkang of Thailand, Mr. Tran Quang Dung of Vietnam, and Mr. Neil Frank Ferrer of the Philippines.

Ambassador (ret.) Stewart Beck, APF President, hosted the meeting at the APF Headquarters in Vancouver and provided a briefing about the work of the Foundation.

Consul General Ferrer said that the two sides had very good discussions and agreed to explore ways and means of collaborating in the future towards strengthening and enhancing relations between ASEAN and Canada.  END
