1st Young Filipino-Canadian Leaders Summit
13 February 2014 - The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver wishes to inform the public of the 1st Young Filipino Canadian Leaders Summit which will be held on 8-9 March 2014 at the Fairview Mall Library & Theatre, Toronto.
The 2014 theme is “iPinoyCan: Understanding the Filipino Canadian Identity – Key to Transformational Leadership”. The Summit hopes to provide a space and opportunity for young adults of Filipino descent, ages 18 to 35, to explore and create a fuller sense of their identity towards the ultimate outcome of inspiring a generation of youth who will be visible and a united national force in the Canadian society.
The event is organized and produced by iKubo Media and Toronto Paskuhan Village (TPF) Canada. The Philippine Embassy in Ottawa and the Philippine Consulate General in Toronto are supporters of this initiative together with Eskwela Incorporated.
